It is always interesting to find memorabilia regarding the Carrera Panamericana. This advertisement was offered on Ebay (http://www.amazon.com/Nash-Healey-Mercury-Carrera-Panamericana/dp/B00QY43ORW) but seems to have sold.

I interviewed Stephen Ross in our documentary Carrera Panamericana (1950-54) who has the makeshift megaphone used in 1952 by Hans Klenk to communicate with Karl Kling after a vulture smashed the windshield of their Mercedes-Benz and nearly cost them the race.
